Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with experienced software engineers to develop interfaces between front-end and back-end systems for web applications.
- Implement, document, and maintain containerized REST API applications to support the Nispera Asset Performance Management (APM) platform.
- Work as part of Fluence’s software engineering team, based at the center of excellence in Bangalore.
- Report to the Nispera software engineering team located in both India and Europe.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of the APM platform through efficient API design and functionality.
- Ensure API solutions are scalable, maintainable, and well-documented for ease of use and integration.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in API development.
- Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
- Experience working with relational databases and Linux environments.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of the energy industry.
- Hands-on experience with additional programming languages and frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Nest.js.
- Experience delivering products and services in agile development environments.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience with containerization and microservices architectures.
