This role has been designated as ‘Remote/Teleworker’, which means you will primarily work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code and program enhancements, updates, and modifications for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
- Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned code portions; identify, log, and debug issues as needed.
- Develop a strong understanding of and collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on software system design and development.
- Participate as a member of a project team, working with other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience or understanding of software systems design tools and programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of designing software systems for multiple platform types.
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English and the local language.
