Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering & Monitoring
- Develop data pipelines using Apache Spark in a cloud environment.
- Create fact tables for use by the analytics team in Databricks Lakehouse.
- Write code in SQL, Python, and/or Scala.
- Automate processes through CI/CD implementation in Jenkins.
- Maintain a passion for writing clean, readable, well-designed, and well-documented code, including test scripts.
- Collaborate with the EU eCommerce team in Amsterdam and data engineers in Gurgaon, participating in all sprint rituals.
- Implement new reporting structures within your scope of responsibility.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality across provided data outputs.
- Monitor the health of critical data pipelines and set up automated monitoring processes.
Power BI Reports Governance
- Perform basic updates and enhancements to Power BI dashboards based on analyst requirements.
- Coordinate with analysts and the Power BI platform team to establish relevant workspaces across environments.
- Create and maintain Active Directory groups with appropriate data access and security settings for user groups.
- Ensure that the Power BI reporting ecosystem adheres to best practices and internal guidelines regarding setup, governance, security, accessibility, and scalability.
