- Report to the Senior Manager of Data Delivery, DAO Group Functions in Hong Kong, and be responsible for delivering data for Group Functions, supporting various regulatory activities.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Data Delivery to ensure that prioritized use cases are developed according to agreed data requirements, impact-tested, and delivered to end users.
- Perform data analysis within the established framework and conduct impact assessment analysis to deliver data assets.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of various data platforms and refineries, ensuring data is sourced from trusted origins.
- Support data provisioning through strategic data platforms.
- Work closely with internal team members, process owners, and external stakeholders (such as data engineers) to deliver data assets to data consumers across various functions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- University degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong work experience in related fields.
- Solid understanding of banking operations and processes, particularly in Risk, Compliance, and Finance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Hadoop and GCP ecosystems, with strong technical skills in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence is an advantage.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills with the ability to navigate the organization.
