Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the product verification (PV) phase for Network Management related applications in a multi-site R&D environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders.
- Work with the customer certification test group on all levels of testing, including component level testing, module level testing, system level testing, and network level testing.
- Collaborate with lab teams to expand the lab by procuring test sets, servers, non-revs, etc.
- Confer with software engineering personnel to resolve problems related to specifications and associated test plans/procedures.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication.
- M.Tech/MSc in Electronics and Communication or Computer Science.
Skills:
Software Testing:
- Experienced in developing test strategies, test planning, and manual & automation test development.
- Skilled in manual & automation test execution of NMS/EMS based telecom products.
- Familiar with Agile development environments, including testing in-scrum or customer vertical use cases, and executing cross-functional workflows using API microservices.
- Understanding of solution, system performance, load, and stress testing.
Technical:
- Experience with DWDM/OTN/SONET/SDH/Packet technologies.
- Knowledge of microservice-based architecture, including Dockers, containers, and various DevOps tools.
- Development experience with Python, JavaScript, Postman, and Selenium.
- Familiarity with databases like Oracle, MySQL, and Cassandra.
- Knowledge of Core/Metro Transport and Core/Metro Switching.
- Thorough understanding of OAM&P based products and their project lifecycle, including service layer management, inventory management, and connection management.
- Experience with northbound OSS interfaces (REST/TMF).
- Working knowledge of enterprise-based network management software solutions in Unix/Linux/VM/Cloud environments.
