Key Responsibilities for Analytics:
- Develop solutions to better analyze input/output metrics, enhancing the customer experience as part of the Amazon Account Management team.
- Work closely with multiple internal teams and stakeholders to analyze data, build inferences, and deliver compelling and actionable data insights through reports and dashboards.
- Utilize excellent SQL and query development skills to extract and analyze data.
- Apply good business acumen to understand and address business needs and program requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with business and program teams to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrate a self-starter attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and strong attention to detail.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, driven by a desire to innovate.
Key Responsibilities for Business Analyst:
- Build and curate relevant datasets, including potentially normalized schemas using SQL and DDL, which are understandable by colleagues and data customers.
- Automate manual data processes, including data quality and validation.
- Run basic descriptive and predictive statistics models on complex data sets.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Python and basic machine learning models (e.g., decision trees, random forests, clustering).
- Take end-to-end ownership and drive projects to completion.
- Create reports using widely available reporting tools, such as Quicksight or Tableau.
- Translate ambiguous work-streams into tangible requirements and success metrics, including the ability to build metrics and metrics decks.
- Earn trust among diverse stakeholders with differing roles, responsibilities, geographical locations, and cultures.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred skills:
- More than 1 year of sales experience.
- Proficiency in working with Tableau.
- Experience handling very large datasets
