Key Responsibilities:
- Address daily reactive issues with customers via email and chat, and occasionally by phone.
- Complete tasks and responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve business goals and contribute to initiatives that enhance team performance and processes.
- Meet and exceed turnaround time and quality delivery targets, with attention to detail.
- Follow defined processes and service level agreements (SLAs), particularly for issues related to Outlook.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to sellers and account managers on issues such as defect review/removal, eMBG case review/action, technical issues, product issues, and policy-related concerns that may hinder sales growth.
- Resolve eBay-specific impediments to merchant growth and sales, including defect reviews/removals and technical or policy issues.
- Coach merchants to proactively avoid issues and adopt eBay tools and standard processes.
- Collaborate with internal partners, advisors, policy makers, and technical teams for swift issue resolution.
- Build a trusting relationship between eBay and customers while ensuring high accuracy and detail.
- Share findings with the account manager and key stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Discuss unique or challenging issues in daily team huddles.
- Show empathy towards customer concerns and demonstrate a commitment to resolution.
- Use negotiation and influence to advocate on behalf of eBay and the customer when necessary.
- Summarize and provide customer feedback to management.
- Conduct outreach activities via phone or email, including educating customers on product/policy information, promoting sustainable business growth, and coaching on policy compliance to prevent selling restrictions.
- Handle escalated and complex cases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduation is mandatory.
- Strong probing and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in multitasking, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Data interpretation and quality insight understanding are advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Ability to remain professional at all times.
