Key Responsibilities:
- Develop automated test scripts using in-house test automation tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and provide inputs on testability.
- Execute automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Create and maintain test data, test environments, and comprehensive test documentation.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Adhere to industry best practices in software testing and maintain high standards of quality assurance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
- Possess a strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and techniques.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Have familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Java or Python.
- Exhibit knowledge or experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Appium, or TestNG.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and debug software defects.
- Show excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Demonstrate familiarity with tools such as TestNG, JUnit, Jenkins, Jira, and TestRail.
