Accountabilities:

  • Investigate and analyze data issues related to data quality, lineage, controls, and identification of authoritative data sources.
  • Execute data cleansing, transformation, and preparation activities to ensure data readiness for analysis and reporting.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to automate data ingestion, movement, and processing.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and artificial intelligence, to address complex business problems.
  • Document data quality issues, analysis outcomes, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Advise and influence decision-making processes, contribute to policy development, and take accountability for operational effectiveness through close collaboration with business functions and divisions.
  • Lead and manage teams performing complex activities, setting clear objectives, coaching employees, evaluating performance, and determining reward outcomes aligned with business goals.

  • Communicate complex and sensitive information clearly to diverse audiences.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Strong experience in the banking domain, preferably within collections and recovery lending.
  • Proven ability to write complex SQL scripts, along with strong data profiling and analysis capabilities.
  • Experience in creating source-to-target mappings and supporting Data Engineers in code development and validation.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and end-to-end warehousing projects.
  • Hands-on exposure to database and data platforms such as Teradata, Oracle, Big Data ecosystems, and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services and programming using Python and/or PySpark.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, with hands-on use of JIRA for task and project management.
  • Exposure to modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
