Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based web applications using frameworks such as Django or Flask, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- API Development: Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs to support internal systems and external integrations.
- Database Management: Design and manage database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity across applications and systems.
- Problem Solving & Debugging: Analyze and resolve technical issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective, long-term solutions.
- Cloud & Deployment: Deploy, monitor, and scale applications in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Automation & CI/CD: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate development, testing, and release processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and reliable software solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
Core Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated strong proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Hands-on experience working with Python web frameworks such as Django and/or Flask.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, along with exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Ability to design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is considered an added advantage.
Cloud & DevOps:
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
Testing & Quality:
- Experience in writing and executing unit and integration tests using frameworks such as pytest.
- Familiarity with automation and networking-related libraries and tools, including Paramiko and PyShark.
Networking & Troubleshooting:
- Strong understanding of core networking concepts and protocols.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and production-level issues efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to machine learning, data analysis, or advanced analytics concepts.
- Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
