Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the product domain and functionality, and translate functional requirements and specifications into concise, well-documented test cases and test steps.
  • Own quality engineering activities, including manual test case creation, execution, and test documentation.
  • Make informed technology and tooling decisions at an individual level and assess their impact on quality and delivery.
  • Integrate project testing activities with continuous integration and continuous testing processes.
  • Apply SDLC principles and methodologies such as Lean and Agile, along with CI practices, software and product security, scalability considerations, documentation standards, refactoring, and modern testing techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with peers and engage with a global, fast-paced technical design and development team to deliver tasks aligned with product release objectives.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile software development practices and actively drive the advancement of test automation within the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing regression test suites, automation scripts, and testing frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and execute maintainable automated tests for acceptance, functional, and regression testing.
  • Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios and opportunities for automation.
  • Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and ensure timely tracking and resolution.
  • Ensure all automated and manual testing efforts align with business requirements, quality standards, and compliance expectations.
  • Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined timelines.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in product development and testing, with significant hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Proven experience in writing and executing manual test cases, preparing test plans, and performing regression and exploratory testing.
  • Ability to identify issues, risks, and dependencies, and escalate or manage them appropriately.
  • Experience translating product requirements into feature files and test scenarios.
  • Strong capability to critically evaluate feature behavior and design effective test strategies.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to maintain high-quality documentation suitable for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Hands-on experience with object-oriented design and programming using languages such as Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as GitHub.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools, such as Rally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks including Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and data-driven testing frameworks.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of or experience with healthcare products or services.
  • Prior experience with SAP Hybris or Oracle ERP systems will be considered an added advantage.
