Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, accounting, financial partnerships, and product, to analyze and address regulatory reporting, tax, and accounting requirements by integrating data from multiple upstream sources.
- Develop simple, user-friendly dashboards that support regulatory reporting partners and clearly present data to internal stakeholders.
- Work with Stripe’s global partners to align their products with Stripe’s usage requirements and ensure accountability in resolving day-to-day operational issues.
- Independently identify opportunities to automate manual processes and lead cross-functional initiatives to successful completion.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Technical Operations, Business Intelligence, or a related role.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL with experience in building data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Ability to navigate complex financial systems and solve large-scale technical challenges.
- Experience managing communications and workflows with both technical and non-technical teams, including external financial partners and vendors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate, prioritize, and identify root causes of issues.
- Proven experience working across multiple teams and organizations to drive process improvements and implement fundamental change.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with regulatory or compliance reporting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including double-entry ledger systems.
- Experience using distributed data frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark to build and debug data pipelines.
- Good understanding of development processes and best practices, including engineering standards, code reviews, and testing.
