Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex financial problems to identify root causes, trends, and actionable insights.
- Manage the end-to-end data pipeline, including extracting raw data and building robust, scalable, and well-documented ETL workflows.
- Model financial data to support reconciliations, reporting, forecasting, and performance monitoring activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 5+ years of professional experience in an analytical or data-focused role, ideally within accounting, finance, or financial data environments.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working with financial data, including P&L statements, balance sheets, reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction-level modeling.
- Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake, and modern data stack tools including dbt, Airflow, and Git.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to translate complex accounting and financial concepts into data models and analytical insights that support business and reporting needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced degree in a core STEM discipline.
- Experience working within a global finance department.
