Key Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Python.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand and support their data requirements for reporting and analytics.
- Optimize and automate ETL processes to efficiently manage large-scale datasets.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and manage data lakes and data warehouses.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data pipelines and data processing.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.
- Apply BI and Data Science tools and techniques to generate actionable business insights.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in data engineering, including at least 1 year working with Databricks or a similar platform.
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and database management.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and pipeline scripting, with a good understanding of API request/response architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and associated data storage solutions.
- Understanding of data governance, data security, and industry best practices.
- Knowledge and experience in statistical methods, data mining, and machine learning tools and techniques.
- Ability to stay updated on emerging trends and apply this knowledge to identify opportunities for data analytics solutions that support business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work remotely and independently lead project initiatives.
- Flexibility to collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities as a self-starter.
