Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Qlik applications and dashboards.
- Build data models in Qlik using advanced Qlik scripting functions.
- Apply BI and data warehouse concepts, including star and snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables, and SQL.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability for business intelligence requirements.
- Optimize data models and Qlik scripts to improve performance and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Qlik solutions.
- Apply basic security and governance practices, including naming conventions and section access under guidance.
- Support releases across development, QA, and production environments, and assist with issue triage and bug fixes.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Qlik applications.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience working with Qlik, along with strong SQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with complex Qlik and SQL queries for extracting data in diverse and complex scenarios.
- Understanding of dimensional modeling fundamentals, including facts, dimensions, grain, and keys.
- Familiarity with incremental loads, QVD optimization, and techniques to avoid circular references.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Advanced skills in Excel and analytics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements into backlog tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Preferred knowledge of Python for lightweight transformations and automations, REST connectors/APIs, simple embedding/mashups, data quality checks, and basic testing approaches.
Preferred Skills:
- Willingness to travel up to 15%, including domestic and international travel.
- Willingness to work from an office in Bengaluru, India.
- Ability to successfully complete a background investigation and drug screening as a condition of employment.
