Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation, cleansing, and transformation of process event data for analysis and modeling.
- Assist in performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in process data.
- Contribute to developing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly Dash.
- Collaborate with data scientists to design and test features and metrics for process performance and predictive models, while gaining exposure to analytical design principles and implementation feedback.
- Participate in creating and maintaining process data models and pipelines, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow) for process analytics.
- Support process mining initiatives by preparing event logs and assisting with analysis on platforms such as Celonis EMS or SAP Signavio.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and quality assurance activities for analytical deliverables.
- Develop a foundational understanding of Responsible AI and Explainable AI (XAI) concepts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 0–2 years of experience in data analytics or data science, with exposure to data preparation, analysis, or visualization.
- Basic understanding of machine learning or statistical techniques applied to structured or event-based data.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, including experience with data manipulation libraries such as pandas and NumPy.
- Experience using data visualization tools and frameworks such as Power BI, Tableau, Plotly Dash, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
- Familiarity with process event or behavioral data, including understanding of event logs (case IDs, activities, timestamps).
- Exposure to process-mining platforms such as Celonis EMS, SAP Signavio, PM4Py, or ProM is an advantage.
- Knowledge of data quality concepts, ETL processes, and pipeline design is preferred.
- Ability to understand and apply process-oriented data science methods for analytics and insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm to learn AI/ML, process analytics, and MLOps practices within enterprise environments.
- Academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports for process performance using visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly Dash.
- Understanding of data wrangling, feature engineering, and data preparation techniques.
- Project or academic experience in process simulations or operations research is beneficial.
- Awareness of professional data science communities and a willingness to engage in continuous learning and growth.
