Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on data manipulation using Python and Pandas to import, cleanse, and transform accounting datasets.
- Write efficient Python scripts to automate data cleaning and reconciliation processes.
- Build data pipelines that connect to various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel files, and APIs.
- Apply practical data analysis techniques to interpret accounting data and generate actionable insights.
- Perform reconciliations between tax data, accounting data, and financial statements.
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
- Participate in team meetings and document technical processes in a structured and detailed manner.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of practical Python coding experience, demonstrated through:
- Portfolio projects involving real-world data manipulation using Pandas.
- Code samples showcasing proficiency with DataFrames, data cleaning, and data analysis.
- Strong hands-on experience with Pandas, including DataFrame operations, merging datasets, groupby aggregations, and practical data cleaning techniques.
- Working knowledge of SQL queries and core relational database concepts.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial data structures.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, in writing and speaking.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
