Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the onboarding process.
  • Act as the first point of contact for business teams and candidates, addressing technical and operational queries.
  • Support and manage the overall background verification process.
  • Provide regular updates to business managers and recruiters throughout the onboarding process.
  • Ensure data integrity and robust reporting for the pre-employment verification process.
  • Manage campus placement operations by actively coordinating with business stakeholders and educational institutes, working in a target-driven manner.
  • Handle vendor payments and expense provisioning activities.
  • Oversee vendor management and perform TMEP duties related to procurement activities.
  • Create and circulate periodic Risk & Opportunity (R&O) MIS reports and dashboards to relevant stakeholders and leadership.
  • Operate within the established control framework and ensure adherence to processes to mitigate issues, queries, and breaks in the process.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduation or post-graduation from a UGC-recognised university, with all mark sheets and provisional/degree certificates available.
  • Only fresh graduates who have completed their bachelor’s degree within the last 0–5 years are eligible to apply.
  • Must not have previously undertaken any government-regulated apprenticeship.
  • Basic understanding of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing processes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Professional and confident presentation skills, including presenting to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Culturally aware and able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and language groups.

Additional Information:

  • The tenure of the apprenticeship will be one (1) year, as defined under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time.
  • All apprentices engaged by the Bank will be registered on the NATS portal as “Apprentice.” A candidate profile will be created for each apprentice on the NATS portal, which they will be able to view.
  • Upon successful completion of the one-year apprenticeship tenure, a Certificate of Proficiency will be issued to the apprentice by the Government of India, as applicable under the Act, and the enrolment under the Apprenticeship Act will cease.
  • All other terms and conditions regarding the tenure of engagement as an apprentice with HSBC will remain as stated in the offer letter issued by the Bank at the time of joining.
