Key Responsibilities:
- Develop code and test case scenarios by applying software craftsmanship principles and ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.
- Complete the assigned learning path and actively contribute to daily team meetings.
- Deliver across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in alignment with Agile methodologies and IT craftsmanship standards.
- Participate in team ceremonies, including Agile practices and chapter meetings.
- Produce high-quality, clean, and reusable code and design components.
- Collaborate with other development teams to define and implement APIs and data access rules.
- Perform release validations to ensure bug-free deployments and prepare corresponding test and defect reports.
- Contribute to the development of scripts, configuration of quality settings, and automation framework usage.
- Run and maintain test suites under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support and maintain existing data models, data dictionaries, data pipeline standards, and metadata for source, process, and consumer data.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in programming languages such as Scala and Shell.
- Skilled in data processing using Spark and SQL.
- Experienced with databases and query tools, including PostgreSQL, Hive, and Starburst.
- Knowledgeable in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Kafka.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Ansible, and Control-M.
- Comfortable working with Agile methodologies, managing backlogs, and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrate strong rigor and adherence to organizational standards related to security, quality, and compliance.
- Able to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
- Proactive in optimizing development processes and improving overall efficiency.
