Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee system alerts to ensure ecosystem functionality and performance, working with existing models for smooth day-to-day operations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze user acquisition and retention data to identify inefficiencies, weaknesses, and bugs in existing models and ensure timely resolution.
- Analytics and Machine Learning: Perform analytical studies to extract meaningful statistics and patterns, and design machine learning models to enhance current technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team on data and statistical tasks aimed at improving user engagement. Collaborate with stakeholders to define key questions and deliver actionable insights.
- Data Transformation: Utilize ETL tools such as DBT to transform and prepare data for broader business accessibility. Use time-series graphing services like Grafana to create visualizations, monitor trends, and identify emerging patterns.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Experience working with data-related technologies, including database querying, programming, data mining, data wrangling, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to efficiently read, write, and execute queries.
- Deep curiosity and interest in data, statistics, machine learning, and data science concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on product development, logical reasoning, and critical thinking.
- Hands-on experience with statistical programming languages such as Python, Scala, R, or MATLAB.
- Solid understanding of statistical techniques and concepts, including regression analysis, distribution properties, and hypothesis testing.
- Experience using web services and platforms such as AWS, EC2, S3, Redshift, or DigitalOcean.
- Detail-oriented and disciplined, with a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI is an added advantage.
