Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and manage bug tracking systems such as Jira and Bugzilla, along with maintaining applications like Confluence and Opengrok.
- Administer Jenkins and contribute to infrastructure automation initiatives using advanced tools such as Docker.
- Provide daily technical support to engineers across supported applications and their associated ecosystems.
- Maintain automation standards, best practices, and comprehensive documentation.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to less-experienced team members to enhance their technical skills and productivity.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Typically requires 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong expertise in Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence, along with other bug tracking systems.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and processes.
- Proficiency in source code management tools, preferably Git.
- Programming and scripting experience in at least one language is essential, with a strong preference for Python.
- Familiarity with storage systems, including filesystem, NFS, SMB, SSD, and object storage, is an added advantage.
- Experience in designing and integrating software across multiple platform types.
- Solid understanding of software design tools, testing methodologies, coding practices, and debugging procedures.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Cloud Architectures, Cross-Domain Integration, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Distributed Computing, Microservices Architecture, and Full Stack Development.
- Awareness of Security-First design principles and Testing & Automation best practices.
- Exposure to Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) concepts.
- Ability to contribute to Solution Design and apply Development Fundamentals effectively.
