Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirement-gathering discussions and understand Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and security testing needs.
- Gain a clear understanding of the system architecture and the components involved in the applications.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new tools and technologies to assess their suitability.
- Prepare and present detailed test plans, including recommendations on the types of testing required for the application.
- Create comprehensive test cases for various security testing services.
- Develop proficiency in performing manual code reviews and using the Checkmarx tool effectively.
- Build expertise in conducting manual penetration testing using tools such as Burp Suite and ZAP Proxy, with a strong understanding of the OWASP Top 10 for web, API, and mobile application security testing.
- Gain experience in performing vulnerability scanning and management for the Bell Security Titanium project, including leading project activities, coordinating with teams, and preparing remediation assessments.
- Acquire knowledge and skills to conduct security audits with a thorough understanding of NIST security controls.
- Develop expertise in performing security testing for cloud-related technologies.
- Learn to automate security testing processes through SSDLC integration, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
- Build the ability to identify false positives, prepare detailed vulnerability reports, and provide clear and actionable recommendations to clients.
- Take ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion without the need for follow-ups.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including daily updates, weekly progress reports, and walkthroughs with clients.
- Demonstrate the ability to efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (BE / BTech / MTech / MS) from a Tier I premier institute.
