Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, and process structured and unstructured data using SQL, Python, or other relevant analytical tools.
- Collaborate with operations teams to collect feedback on dispute resolution workflows and drive improvements in process efficiency.
- Develop, test, and validate analytical hypotheses aimed at optimizing PayPal’s operational costs while enhancing both consumer and merchant experiences.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Modeling, Product, and Engineering, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide ad hoc analytical support to stakeholders by identifying dispute trends and contributing to risk mitigation strategies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics from a Tier I institution.
Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience in data preparation and analysis of large datasets using SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong passion for deriving actionable insights from data to address business challenges.
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as Python and Tableau.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights effectively.
- Background in fraud detection, credit analysis, risk management, or statistics will be an added advantage.
