Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with top industry experts and Dell’s internal teams to drive the development of next-generation Client PCs powered by AI and innovative client software products that deliver a world-class customer experience.
- Contribute to product design, development, and innovation by generating patentable ideas and supporting time-to-market (TTM) initiatives for next-generation commercial and consumer client platforms.
- Develop, debug, and enhance existing features and functionalities in OS-based diagnostics and telemetry products, along with related client platform UEFI firmware components.
- Participate in Agile-based development processes while ensuring adherence to world-class quality metrics and best engineering practices.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in software development for Windows OS-based products using .NET, C#, or C++, with strong programming and debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience in problem-solving and Agile-based development of platform software in one or more areas such as system health management, intelligent diagnostics, telemetry, and data analytics for client PC platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Windows internals and security, WMI/ACPI, MFC, WCF, WPF, and PC architecture.
- Familiarity with Intel and AMD processor architectures (x64), ARM64 architecture, and industry standards impacting client-server architecture, hybrid cloud support, software user experience (SWUx), performance, security, and interoperability.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation in Agile development environments as part of a CI/CD pipeline (zero-touch automation).
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining test automation within established automation frameworks or test executives.
