Key Responsibilities:
- Manage external data cloud publishing requests, ensuring data viability, quality, accuracy, and usability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to modernize and enhance external data delivery systems for analysts and modelers.
- Act as a technical liaison between product teams, engineering, and data users to facilitate smooth communication and understanding.
- Design and implement efficient processes for extracting, refining, and integrating metadata into data discovery solutions.
- Communicate the scope, progress, and status of data management and publishing requests to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of large language model (LLM) solutions for enhanced metadata discovery.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of experience in data and analytics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background in financial services, data and analytics, technology, or experience in a relevant startup environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to developing subject matter expertise.
- Ability to effectively communicate business strategies with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proven project management skills, with the capability to handle multiple projects collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in deliverables.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on technical experience with Apache Spark and proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Experience in building data pipelines, managing data processes, and collaborating with external suppliers for sourcing external data.
- Familiarity with cloud computing fundamentals and platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and their applications within financial services.
