Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of software solutions across the full application stack, including both front-end and back-end components.
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end services using Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI (preferably Flask).
- Develop, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration with front-end applications and external systems.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, writing optimized and efficient SQL queries.
- Implement and manage ORM-based models for scalable data access, preferably using SQLAlchemy.
- Ensure application performance, robustness, and security in high-traffic production environments.
- Apply strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms to address complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with front-end developers; familiarity with React.js is considered an advantage.
- Participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and adhere to coding best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance system design, performance, and scalability.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and strong collaboration skills within a team environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field of study.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, PHP, Ruby, or Python.
- Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in at least one web development framework (preferably Flask).
- Basic understanding of web development principles and backend system architectures.
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization and ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with React or Node.js is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum environments, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS) for application deployment and scalability is desirable.
- Knowledge of modern CI/CD pipelines, version control using Git, and DevOps best practices is preferred.
- Basic understanding or hands-on experience with React.js or front-end integration is an added benefit.
