Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and architecture of complex, high-quality software and storage systems.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate software and storage specifications for various products and systems.
- Participate in the development and execution of test strategies for complex software and storage solutions.
- Utilize programming languages, operating systems, BIOS, device drivers, embedded software/firmware, and related tools and utilities in daily tasks.
- Continuously apply and expand knowledge gained from new tools, programming languages, and operating systems through hands-on experience.
- Work with modern CI/CD toolsets such as Atlassian, GitLab, PowerShell scripts, Python, and installation frameworks like InstallShield or WIX.
- Deliver high-quality, customer-facing products by leveraging prior technical experience and best engineering practices.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ability to code, debug, and guide others in developing flexible, scalable, and complex programs based on written or verbal design specifications.
- Strong knowledge of programming tools and technologies such as C#, C++, WMI, XML, JSON, and WCF, with a solid understanding of GUI development using XAML, WPF, or HTML5.
- Familiarity with Windows ADK, WinPE, and WinRE environments; knowledge of BIOS/UEFI is an added advantage.
- In-depth functional understanding or hands-on experience with Windows OS internals, including OS resource and peripheral management.
- Experience working in or leading Agile development teams, preferably using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Background in software development or DevOps automation, with experience collaborating with Product Owners and Product Marketing teams to develop and refine user stories.
Preferred Skills:
- 0–3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Exposure to frameworks and design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and MVP, along with technologies like WCF, WPF, Python, and PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product development lifecycle (PDLC).
