Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a mentor to design, develop, and maintain code using Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
- Add new features, debug, identify, and track issues in Red Hat products such as RHEL, OpenShift, or other related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Engage and network with other interns in an inclusive workplace that encourages authenticity, learning, and growth.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Basic understanding and strong interest in Software Engineering principles and practices.
- Fundamental knowledge of and willingness to work with programming languages such as Python, Golang, or similar.
- Passion, curiosity, and creativity to explore new ideas and understand how systems work internally.
- Eagerness to learn continuously and contribute proactively as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English for effective communication.
- Must be a full-time matriculated student in a tertiary institution and available to commit to a 6-month program from January to July 2026.
