Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the Private Equity industry and fund structures to formulate questions for Fund Managers regarding transactions and financial statements, and make independent judgments when answers are not readily available.
- Gain a clear understanding of Private Equity terminology, performance metrics, and types of fees and expenses.
- Understand existing reporting and cash flow processes to effectively use quarterly report and cash flow data processing templates.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, completing tasks efficiently while knowing when to escalate issues.
- Conduct independent analyses of financial statements and capital account movements, extracting accurate quantitative and qualitative information.
- Acquire skills in reading Limited Partnership agreements and summarizing relevant information for Portfolio Monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate client reporting.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of data within the system.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position as required.
- Review errors, warnings, and notifications from data submitted via standardized templates, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the IDS Team Lead or related IDS departments when necessary.
- Coordinate with general partners to upload quarterly reports to the platform using standardized templates.
- Manage daily communications and ensure adherence to quarterly reporting deadlines with general partners.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with 2–4 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Customer- and data-focused, with strong experience in customer service and data management, and a passion for service excellence.
- Comfortable liaising with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish, or Italian is an advantage.
- Ambitious, proactive problem solver with a positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to grow beyond the comfort zone.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver tasks while maintaining high quality and consistency.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, capable of managing priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Reliable and trustworthy team member with high integrity and ethics, driven to contribute to a collaborative, high-functioning team in a high-impact environment.
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications, with the ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
