Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and debugging of features in the People Skills product.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C# and Python, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze and understand existing services to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable seamless integration.
- Work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, with proven coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with Git and standard development workflows.
- Ability to read and understand large, complex codebases and contribute effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must successfully pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with proven coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience, OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in software design, coding, rapid prototyping, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work with cross-platform code.
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and managing ambiguity in cross-group environments.
- Experience driving high-quality outcomes for customers.
