Key Responsibilities:
- Build an opportunity landscape to support negotiations for new benefit partnerships.
- Contribute to partner strategy by securing higher partner-sourced value and enhancing product value propositions through tailored analytics.
- Apply advanced analytics to study customer behavior and competitive dynamics, articulating a strong partner value story to strengthen relationships and support renegotiations with existing benefit partners.
- Establish robust MIS and tracking mechanisms to evaluate benefit performance from both Amex and external partner perspectives.
- Proactively identify emerging merchants and industries to curate a business development pipeline aligned with loyalty and benefit strategies.
- Communicate analytics-based insights to Product Management, Lending leadership, and cross-functional teams such as Business Development and Product, to shape product and partner strategies.

- Strong analytical skills with an innovative approach to solving practical business problems.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistics, data mining, and research methods.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in statistical analysis and data manipulation tools such as SAS, SQL, and Big Data analytics techniques.
- Ability to interpret data, synthesize insights into real-world applications, and effectively break down complex business problems.
