Key Responsibilities:
- Review requirement documents thoroughly and design comprehensive test cases covering new product functionality and impacted areas.
- Execute manual test cases for new features and regression testing as required for product releases.
- Identify critical issues and communicate them clearly and promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- File defects effectively using bug tracking platforms such as JIRA or Bugzilla, ensuring detailed documentation to minimize back-and-forth and enable faster resolution.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation, prioritizing high ROI areas to enhance testing efficiency.
- Work with automation programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java for test development.
- Execute, monitor, and debug automation test runs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automation code to expand test coverage and improve overall quality.
- Explore and build knowledge of Cloud and On-Premises infrastructure to support testing activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1–4 years of experience in an SDET role with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to quickly learn products or concepts, including their features, capabilities, and functionality.
- Strong fundamentals in programming languages (preferably Python or Go) and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in RESTful API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AWS services including S3, EC2, EBS, EKS, and IAM (preferred).
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps (preferred).
- Strong foundational knowledge of Linux-based systems, including setting up Git repositories, user management, network configurations, and package management.
- Experience with non-functional testing, including performance and load testing (desirable).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and understanding of service metrics (nice to have).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (helpful).
