Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data extraction and diagnose key financial drivers, leveraging analytics to provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for specific functions or business units, addressing financial issues and supporting key business initiatives.
- Provide inputs for monthly expense and capital reviews, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyze variances using operational analytics and insights.
- Interpret financial reports, including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s financial processes and gain in-depth knowledge of its operations and business activities.
- Support business operations by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and preparing financial forecasts aligned with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards, corporate policies, and maintain the integrity of internal and external reporting.
- Apply foundational financial principles, contribute to projects through research and data analysis, and provide regular updates on progress and challenges.
- Support priority projects by maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, sharing information, and delivering standardized reports.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent work experience or demonstrated competence is also acceptable.
- 0–2 years of professional experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with automation tools and processes.
- Proficiency in corporate finance and financial services.
- Competence in data analysis, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
- Experience with financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Understanding of economics and market trends.
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Familiarity with internal controls and compliance practices.
- Understanding of investments and portfolio management concepts.
- Ability to track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Skills in process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of Profit and Loss (P&L) management.
- Experience with SAP applications and related financial systems.
- Proficiency in variance analysis and reporting.
