Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer STO (Shutdown, Turnaround, Outage) inquiries by providing accurate quotes on spare parts, replacement valves, and displacement valves, including Management of Change (MOC) support through phone, email, and chat.
- Provide datasheets, spare parts information, and emphasize the competitive advantages of Emerson products as part of the MOC process.
- Support the sales team by highlighting key differentiators between current installations and new product offerings.
- Develop training materials to help teams understand competitor displacement opportunities.
- Design and implement process automation tools to improve speed and efficiency in STO quoting activities.
- Execute quotes with optimal lead time by evaluating current and forecasted inventory levels in the ERP system to ensure quick handover to operations.
- Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times and on-time delivery of quote packages.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management, or equivalent prior experience in a similar role.
- Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Technical qualifications in a mechanical field are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written, verbal, and mathematical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with pressure relief valves and related applications.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
