Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business and functional requirements from one or more client teams.
  • Validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team, offering suggestions and recommendations aligned with industry best practices.
  • Design, develop, and deliver best-in-class analytics for end users using Big Data and cloud platforms.
  • Document, discuss, and resolve business, data, data-processing, and BI/reporting issues within the team, across functional groups, and with business stakeholders.
  • Present written and verbal data-analysis findings to the project team and business stakeholders to support requirements gathering and issue resolution.
  • Manage shifting business priorities and project scope while working on multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a proactive approach to achieving results.
  • Comply with the terms of the employment contract, company policies, and directives, including potential changes in work location, team assignments, shifts, benefits, or work arrangements as required by business needs.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Spark, and Hive, including developing analytics solutions at scale.
  • 1+ years of experience building end-to-end analytics pipelines on Hadoop or other Big Data platforms.
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL or related query languages.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality, best-in-class code aligned with business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills for complex challenges.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate proactivity, decisiveness, and flexibility.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of Medicare risk adjustment programs.
  • Familiarity with CMS datasets such as MMR, MOR, and EDPS.
  • Experience developing solutions on AWS, GCP, or other cloud-based platforms.
