Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of complex banking transactions and data to identify potential money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations, and other suspicious activities or patterns.
- Review and analyze key elements of customer records, validate them against regulatory documents submitted by customers, record findings, highlight issues, and meet production targets to ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Perform external research on third parties and provide analytical insights to support investigation efforts.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to substantiate findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest regulatory developments and industry best practices in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Technology, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum of 0–3 years of experience in the banking industry or financial services operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong research and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to review and analyze complex entity documentation and annual reports.
- Understanding of key aspects of US and non-US federal and state AML regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
