Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of code changes, including development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Utilize various open-source tools for instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and debugging of production services.
- Participate in on-call rotations with team members to ensure high service uptime during off-hours.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the future of services to deliver best-in-class experiences for IBM development teams.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure such as VPC, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Istio, and Akamai.
- Provide exceptional end-user support by collaborating with development teams to understand their requirements and optimize build and deployment processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) with a specialization in Computer Science or Information Science.
- Strong coding proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang, C++, Java, or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Familiarity with IBM Cloud services and management, particularly in deploying and scaling applications within a cloud environment.
