Key Responsibilities:
Within One Month, You Will:
- Attend new hire training to onboard effectively.
- Learn the development (Dev) and quality engineering (QE) processes followed at Xactly.
- Gain exposure to Xactly’s QE tools and technologies.
- Participate in the scrum development process to understand Agile workflows.
- Build relationships and get to know your team members.
Within Three Months, You Will:
- Acquire knowledge of Xactly’s SaaS technology stack.
- Become familiar with the Xactly product and feature suite.
- Understand Xactly’s QE automation frameworks, tools, and technologies.
- Actively participate in QE activities such as test planning and automation within scrum teams.
Within Six Months, You Will:
- Ensure adherence to best QE practices across your work.
- Contribute to the release of high-quality product versions.
- Actively participate in and contribute to product and feature releases.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on production issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Within Twelve Months, You Will:
- Develop expertise in the Xactly product you are working on.
- Take full ownership of the features or modules you are responsible for testing.
- Collaborate closely with scrum teams on sprint planning and feature design discussions.
- Continuously contribute to process improvements to reduce production defect escapes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) or testing environment.
- Ability to develop test strategies, design test plans, and write effective test cases.
- Experience working within an Agile Scrum development methodology.
- Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming (OOP) language, such as Java.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and the ability to write complex queries.
