Key Responsibilities:
- Work across all phases of the product development lifecycle—including design, development, testing, and support—within core systems technologies such as operating systems, firmware, systems software, storage software, and cloud software.
- Collaborate with development teams, product management, and global stakeholders to design and develop IBM Systems products.
- Analyze product requirements, identify optimal design approaches, implement solutions through coding, and perform comprehensive testing across the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to validation and support activities to ensure the robustness and reliability of IBM Systems products.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Strong programming skills in systems software using languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS, and Groovy.
- Solid understanding of operating system concepts, particularly Unix/Linux internals, along with strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization and cloud computing technologies, including Red Hat OpenShift, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a global, cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Familiarity with OpenStack, application development on cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and security concepts.
- Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Vaadin and ReactJS, along with UI styling libraries like Bootstrap or Material UI.
- Working knowledge of J2EE, JSP, RESTful web services, and GraphQL APIs.
- Practical experience with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Ansible, SQL, Node.js, and databases.
- Good understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and modern data science tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of server performance management, capacity planning, and performance diagnostics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to contribute effectively to team efforts and achieve related goals.
