Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex databases, including access methods, access time optimization, validation checks, data organization, security measures, documentation, and statistical methods to meet client requirements.
- Review and edit data requirements and documentation using standard tools and methodologies, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and client specifications.
- Monitor and enforce data standards and procedures, and recommend updates as needed to address evolving market needs and ensure consistency across databases.
- Build analytical dashboards and reports, preferably with experience in the finance domain.
- Apply data analysis and data modeling techniques to create, modify, or maintain complex data structures and related components for improved efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve significant technical issues within databases by analyzing root causes to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide direction and guidance to junior team members in using data structures and components to ensure business requirements are met.
- Deliver training on data modeling techniques and their integration into information systems to ensure consistency in database development and maintenance across the organization.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in data administration, repository management, and database creation techniques, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing standards, strategies, and tools.
- Familiarity with company-specific database and statistical software, including product configuration.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and relational databases for both database management and general software development.
Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics, particularly in developing analytical scorecards and dashboards.
- Hands-on experience in building dashboards and working with analytical tools such as Python, Tableau, SQL, and Microsoft Access is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) models is considered an added advantage.
- Ability to create detailed project plans and track project progress with diligence and accuracy.
