Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide actionable insights to decision-makers.
- Develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic or tactical plans based on business data and market intelligence.
- Create report and analysis specifications based on business needs and available data elements.
- Contribute to defining, developing, enhancing, and tracking metrics and dashboard requirements to deliver results and provide insights on emerging trends.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure analytics are valid, meaningful, and deliver comprehensive, actionable insights.
- Analyze data across various platforms, including social media, to identify and present trends and patterns.
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reports and analytical dashboards.
- Extract and analyze data, statistics, and information from multiple sources to produce relevant reports, summaries, and briefing materials for business decision-making.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into data reports, insights, and extracts.
- Optimize visual data presentations to enhance clarity and facilitate actionable decision-making.
- Maintain processes to ensure data accuracy, relevance, and proper representation.
- Review and revise requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed business solutions.
- Provide support to clients to ensure successful implementation of recommendations and solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other quantitative discipline is preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of data mining principles, predictive analytics, data mapping, and data collection from both on-premises and cloud-based data sources.
- Proven ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large volumes of data with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Skilled in identifying solutions within complex data sets and translating insights into strategic business opportunities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while also effectively collaborating across multiple teams and building productive working relationships.
- Thorough understanding of current data protection and privacy regulations.
- Passionate about data, statistics, and driving measurable results.
- Technical proficiency and sound knowledge of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to identify emerging trends and uncover business opportunities through data analysis.
- Strong awareness of key business issues, priorities, and market dynamics.
- Proficient in programming and querying languages such as SQL, SAS, etc.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis tools and reporting software.
Required Experience:
- Significant experience in an analytics-focused role.
- Extensive experience with data collection tools and analytics software.
- Hands-on experience working with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, etc., for data analysis.
- Proficient in creating reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel.
