Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Lead all aspects of system alerts to ensure the ecosystem functions effectively, working with existing models to support day-to-day operations and performance.
- Data Analysis: Analyze user acquisition and retention data to identify weaknesses and bugs in current models and drive their resolution.
- Analytics and Machine Learning: Perform analytics to extract statistics and patterns, and design machine learning models to enhance existing technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team on data and statistical tasks to improve user engagement, and collaborate with stakeholders to formulate relevant questions and deliver actionable insights.
- Data Transformation: Utilize ETL tools such as DBT to transform data and make it more accessible to the business. Create visualizations, monitor trends, and identify patterns using time series graphing tools like Grafana.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Experience with data-related technologies, including database queries, programming, data mining/wrangling, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to read, write, and execute complex queries effectively.
- Genuine curiosity and interest in data, statistics, machine learning, and data science.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on product development, logical thinking, and critical analysis.
- Hands-on experience with statistical programming languages such as Python, Scala, R, or MATLAB.
- Solid understanding of statistical techniques and concepts, including regression, distribution properties, statistical tests, and their correct application.
- Experience working with web services and cloud platforms such as AWS, EC2, S3, Redshift, or DigitalOcean.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is an added advantage.
