Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, debug, and automate ETL processes using Oracle PL/SQL, and implement enhancements to existing ETL packages.
- Prepare project, system, and other technical documentation as required.
- Document work and procedures in accordance with established standards.
- Write and execute unit and integration test plans and scripts.
- Conduct and coordinate the analysis, design, and implementation of application and database systems.
- Review designs and obtain approvals from leads and onshore stakeholders.
- Report work progress in a timely and transparent manner.
- Participate in reviews of own work and incorporate feedback and review comments.
- Quickly understand complex concepts and processes.
- Contribute to organizational and departmental process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
- Work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Collaborate effectively within an agile team environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience in PL/SQL and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Strong hands-on experience in developing procedures, functions, and packages in Oracle.
- Proficient in writing complex queries and has good knowledge of views and materialized views.
- Experienced in using analytical functions, hierarchical queries, pivot, and unpivot operations.
- Strong expertise in query performance tuning, including the use of explain plans, hints, and parallel queries.
- Hands-on experience working with fact and dimension tables.
- Skilled in working with external tables, SQL Loader, table partitioning, sub-partitioning, and indexing.
- Knowledgeable in gathering table statistics and performing table analysis.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective team player.
