Key Responsibilities:
- Use multi-dimensional and/or relational databases such as OLAP to identify and manage high-volume, high-dimensional data required to support predictive models.
- Compile, cleanse, and process data; query databases; and perform basic statistical analyses.
- Determine informational needs and data elements for applying analytic techniques such as cluster analysis and association rules to develop predictive models.
- Define logical attributes and interrelationships, and assist in identifying potential correlations between variables of interest.
- Assist in the design and implementation of high-impact predictive modeling initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three or more years of experience in data analytics and/or modeling.
- Experience working with multi-dimensional and/or relational databases such as NoSQL, OLAP, or similar technologies.
- Proficiency in manipulating high-volume, high-dimensional data from various sources using big data integration and analysis tools such as R, MATLAB, or SAS.
- Experience with data cleansing, validation, and general quality control principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic programming skills and familiarity with Java, Scala, Python, or similar languages.
- Fundamental problem-solving skills to understand and address business challenges.
- Basic oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and switch between tasks quickly.
