Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a strong understanding of enterprise microservices architecture and implementation.
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting, follow-through, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Apply analytical thinking and foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms to technical tasks.
- Communicate effectively through strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Install and deploy solutions in Kubernetes environments, with a preference for experience in OpenShift.
- Manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously with efficiency and professionalism.
- Understand hybrid-cloud software implementations, including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and various cloud applications.
- Operate effectively in high-pressure environments and meet critical deadlines.
- Have knowledge of virtualization technologies and experience with Linux package porting.
- Work with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including virtualization management.
- Build and manage REST APIs, catalog services, and microservices.
- Demonstrate DevOps expertise, including experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Travis.
- Possess programming experience in Python, Java, or C.
- Apply knowledge of observability solutions and monitoring tools.
- Develop and deploy applications in cloud-native environments.
- Understand and apply cloud security principles and best practices.
- Have a solid grasp of networking concepts and related technologies.
- Be hands-on with technology to create demo assets, conduct proof of concepts (PoCs), and run enablement sessions for customers.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree
Technical and Professional Skills:
- Proficient in programming languages including C/C++, Python, and Java.
- Experienced with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Skilled in using CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with Linux package porting, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and virtualization management.
- Knowledgeable in developing and managing REST APIs, catalog services, and microservices.
- Strong DevOps skills, including expertise with Jenkins and Travis CI/CD pipelines.
- Experienced in writing and executing unit, functional, and integration test cases.
- Familiarity with Selenium for automated testing.
- Exposure to source code management tools and version control systems.
- Experience with cloud-native development and deployment practices.
- Ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders, understand their requirements, and communicate project status clearly.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Prior exposure to Z Systems and experience with catalog services and microservices is preferred.
- Knowledge of storage, networking, and security concepts is an added advantage.
- Experience with machine learning libraries is considered a plus.
