Key Responsibilities:
- Support the PGTR QO Management in the development and administration of the BU-QO’s Power BI workspace.
- Collaborate in a respectful and friendly team environment that operates efficiently and handles occasional high-pressure situations.
- Work closely with the HE Performance & Analytics Team, the owner of the key database that powers Transformers Power BI visualizations.
- Build Analysis Services reporting models to support data-driven decision-making.
- Design and develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop.
- Connect to various data sources, import, transform, and model data for Business Intelligence purposes.
- Translate raw data into informative visuals and reports that support business objectives.
- Implement row-level security and configure application-level security models in Power BI.
- Create DAX queries and apply advanced-level calculations to enhance dataset insights.
- Develop tabular and multidimensional data models compatible with warehouse standards.
- Publish, schedule, and manage Power BI reports in alignment with business requirements.
- Extract and analyze data from various tools and relevant sources to assess the performance of specific initiatives for the QO Department.
- Conduct “What-If” and scenario analyses to support strategic planning.
- Perform ad-hoc customized analytics and develop knowledge portals using SharePoint.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports, including Relex Analyzer and Power BI dashboards, for the Transformers Quality & Operations Department.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on the effective use of reports and dashboards.
- Monitor and ensure high levels of data quality and completeness across all reporting platforms.
- Assist in data cleansing activities to improve the accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Maintain and manage the BU-QO Reporting & Analytics Team’s SharePoint space.
- Ensure the online document library is current, containing general information and usage instructions for BI tools.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Expertise in building visualizations in Power BI based on diverse data sources and datasets.
- Strong proficiency in DAX queries, DAX functions, and Power Query Editor.
- DA-100 certification is preferred.
- Experience in handling data from SAP/S4 HANA is preferred.
- Skilled in connecting multiple data sources within a single Power BI report.
- Proficient in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per business requirements.
- Experienced in applying advanced-level calculations to datasets for enhanced insights.
- Capable of developing tabular and multidimensional models that align with data warehouse standards.
- Ability to understand business requirements and develop data models accordingly, optimizing resource usage.
- Familiar with implementing Row Level Security (RLS) in Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL Data Warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, and Power Apps.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experienced in creating and managing Microsoft Teams spaces and SharePoint pages.
- Understanding of Hitachi Energy (HE) / PGTR organizational structure and operational KPIs is preferred.
- Flexible to attend meetings across different time zones.
- Proactive in stakeholder engagement and skilled at eliciting and understanding requirements.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
