Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close activities and post journal entries in the General Ledger with appropriate documentation.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, prepaid, and fixed assets, and investigate identified variances.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll to resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
- Support the preparation of internal reports for management review and decision-making.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Assist with audit processes by providing required data, reports, and supporting explanations to auditors.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Willingness to work in flexible shifts to support US and UK teams/processes.
- Work experience: 0 to 2 years in General Ledger (GL) or Asset Management (AM) roles within the Record to Report (R2R) process in a reputed MNC captive or BPO setup (experience in CA firms will not be considered).
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com).
Critical Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fair analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative team player with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
