Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code using Java, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Perform unit testing using frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito to ensure code reliability and functionality.
- Ensure software design and implementation are in alignment with technical specifications and project requirements.
- Prepare and deploy software releases and updates of application components in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the team to explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies to support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and suggest innovative solutions to enhance system performance and maintainability.
- Utilize version control systems like Git or SVN to manage codebase changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in Java programming with a strong understanding of Java 11 features and concepts.
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design principles using common design patterns.
- Proficient in writing unit tests and mocking using JUnit and Mockito.
- Skilled in using version control systems such as Git and SVN.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced development environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with the OSGi framework.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and protocols such as OBD-II.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to additional programming languages and frameworks is a plus.
