Key Responsibilities:
- Data Science: Lead the development of advanced data science and machine learning models, leveraging large datasets to support business decision-making and data-driven strategies across the organization.
- Python Programming: Design, develop, and maintain Python-based software solutions, collaborating with team members to ensure seamless integration, performance optimization, and alignment with business requirements.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and contribute to the development of both short-term and long-term solutions.
- Process Improvement: Support process improvement initiatives by enhancing problem resolution workflows, implementing preventive measures, and actively participating in project planning and technical solution design.
- Project Transparency: Maintain transparency by providing regular updates on project progress and challenges to leadership, adhering to disciplined development practices and project management standards.
- Independent Work: Manage projects independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to handle ambitious and complex initiatives.
- Flexible Shift & On-Call Coverage: Be available for a 12 PM to 9 PM shift and provide on-call support as required to ensure business continuity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong Python Skills: Proficient in developing, maintaining, and integrating software solutions using Python.
- Data Science Expertise: Extensive experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics to design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Requirement Analysis: Skilled in validating business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical solutions, and providing accurate effort estimation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Financial Analysis: Hands-on experience in financial markets and quantitative finance.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior developers.
- Quantitative Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial mathematics, including financial instrument pricing and financial market modeling.
Preferred Skills:
- Project Management: Experience in managing project updates, with a particular focus on Agile methodologies.
- Refinitiv Tools: Familiarity with Refinitiv Eikon, Elektron, and Workspace products.
- ESG Data Modeling: Experience in financial modeling with a focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data.
