Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business challenges and technology solutions to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Analyze and transform complex business problems into effective technology-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and apply best practice methodologies to define solutions for process, information, and system improvements.
- Deliver business projects in accordance with sponsor expectations and enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Proactively design and implement enhanced services and platforms, covering all functional aspects from definition to deployment.
- Identify and document operational gaps, including the creation of user guides, templates, test cases, and training materials.
- Provide support in resolving service-related issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Adhere to relevant development, support, and documentation processes and standards.
- Communicate and escalate any issues or risks that may affect deliverables, and request support when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Take ownership of assigned project components with minimal supervision and ensure timely delivery.
- Perform additional related tasks and responsibilities as required by the project or team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Project Management certification is a plus.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is preferred.
- Active IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) membership required.
- Relevant technology certifications (e.g., ITIL) are mandatory.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of business practices, processes, and organizational operations.
- Proven team player with excellent client service orientation and well-developed administrative and organizational skills.
- Deep expertise in analyzing specific systems, processes, and technologies relevant to the role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse business and technical audiences.
- Proficient in process mapping tools and techniques.
- Skilled at building rapport and effectively engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies and their practical application.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert business needs into operational and functional requirements.
- Highly proficient in documentation, including functional requirements, test cases, user manuals, process documents, procedures, and presentations.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Exchange, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems like ServiceNow, Siebel, Remedy, SAP, and EMS is an added advantage.
- Sound understanding and practical experience with ITIL frameworks and tools within a service integration context.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within a technology services or IT consulting environment.
- Prior experience as a system administrator or developer is an added advantage.
- In-depth experience with operational aspects of a services business, preferably within a systems integrator setup.
- Proven experience in business requirement gathering, use case development, process mapping, and the implementation of new services and systems.
